ACTIVA is a product that allows the reactivation of the open springs in a simple, practical, and extremely rapid way. With ACTIVA, once the space required for spring reactivation has been quanti ed, it is only a matter of compressing it towards one of the two sides and insert the ACTIVA of the desired thickness. In this way, the spring, compressed again, reactivates its thrust function.
ADVANTAGES
- Cooperation with the sliding mechanics: unlike the common crimping devices, Activa is not crimped onto the wire but around it, allowing the wire to move freely without compromising the sliding.
- Flexibility: selection of the needed compression level thanks to three available sizes. Activa ts on any size archwire and can be used anytime during treatment. It is also possible to increase the activation of the spring progressively by adding additional sizes of ACTIVA.

USE OF ACTIVA
- Step 1: Choose the correct size of ACTIVA is needed;
- Step 2: Grasp ACTIVA using any plier. With an elastic ligature director compress the spring to one side;
- Step 3: Insert ACTIVA on the archwire and crimp it gently. Release the spring.
