Archwires


SIA Orthodontic Manufacturer archwires are available in various materials and shapes. The preformed nickel-titanium archwire series comes in both superelastic and heat-activated variants.

Available shapes: Natural, Ortho I, Ortho II, Standard.

I-Arch


I-Arch is a unique and innovative system of orthodontic archwires, coming from years of research at SIA Orthodontic Manufacturer. i-arch allows an highly innovative e ective, easy, compatible and biological orthodontic approach. Its e ectiveness is given by the use, since the alignment and leveling stage, of rectangular archwires with an immediate delivery of torque. Its ease of use comes from the reduced number of wires to used. Its compatibility is given by the possible use with any straight-wire prescription. Its biological compatibility is ensured by the use of very gentle forces (from 40g), reducing the traumatic e ects, especially at the beginning, of the orthodontic treatment.

ARCHWIRES SEQUENCE

  • i-arch 0,016″x0,014″ Thermal as first archwire to obtain alignment, leveling and torque delivery;
  • i-arch 0,018″x0,014″ Superelastic as second archwire for the form of the arch and the sliding mechanics;
  • i-arch 0,016″x0,016″ B-Titanium as final archwire to complete the form of the arch, for the interarch mechanical and to stabilize the results achieved.

Nickel-Titatium


Mach³

Thermal MACH3 is made of Cu-Ni-Ti alloy, allowing more advanced performances than the common Ni-Ti archwire. MACH3 accepts bents at higher temperatures than the typical thermal archwires. In the same way, it gradually recalls its shape memory at lower temperatures compared to the standard thermal wires, releasing very gentle and long-lasting forces for better treatment results and patients’ comfort.

Thermal

The patient body temperature activates the Ni-Ti Thermal archwire. This archwire can be easily bent and delivers a light and continuous force after activation. It has excellent tridimensional control and is soft and exible, allowing better control of the torque.

Superelastic

Ni-Ti superelastic archwire is a nickel-titanium wire that applies light and continuous forces to achieve better treatment results. Accurate smoothness and brightness of the arch reduce bracket slot friction, resulting in better teeth movement.

Twisted – 7S

The new 7S is a 7 strand twisted Ni-Ti archwire. Its particular structure and nickel-titanium features allow the 7S archwire to deliver gentle, long-lasting, and gradual forces. It is recommended in the treatment phases of leveling and alignment in cases with severe crowding.

Beta-Titanio


ß-Titatium

Titanium archwires are nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Raw material features ensure these archwires have high strength and versatility, making them an ideal substitute for the stainless steel archwires in all the treatment phases, as they have a lighter force but double elasticity.

Titanium archwires accept a high level of de ection without permanent deformation. Its smooth surface and features allow the welding of auxiliary loops, stops, and accessories. Available in Natural shape.

Stainless steel


Stainless steel

Using the most advanced production technologies and the best stainless steel of the AISI 300 series helps us supply a high-quality product. Our products have an optimum brightness and smoothness to reduce friction inconvenience; identi cation of the arch center with three lines for maxillary and one for mandibular. To obtain the best results, use it with Sia Orthodontic Manufacturer brackets.

The archwires are 25 per pack. Each pack contains ve sterilizable sealed pouches containing ve archwires each.

In Class II cases with extraction, a stainless steel arch with a 0.30” silver soldered brass post may be helpful. The position of the posts is at variable distances: upper archwires in 34 to 44mm sizes, lower in 22 to 32 mm, and 2 mm increments.

The most commonly used sizes are 36mm for the upper arch and 28 mm for the lower.

Wires


The wires are available in strong tempered wire. They are suitable for Adam hooks, labial archwires, springs, and archwires. They are heat-tempered to a superior last. Two or three archwires can be obtained for each wire. The wire maintains its shape even when auxiliary forces are applied.

The standard length is 14”.

This wire is used to retain tooth position after orthodontic treatment. Its easy application ensures the stabilization of orthodontic corrections, preventing relapse. It is usually used alternatively or in combination with removable appliances.

Springs


Sia’s springs are available in 9 mm and 12 mm lengths (respectively, 21 and 36mm maximum extension) with variable force. They have stainless steel eyelets at both ends that allow easy engagement of various hooks. The eyelets have a unique retention system that helps to keep them attached under the most severe conditions.

This revolutionary superelastic distalizing spring is an alternative to the headgear and lip bumpers. It is possible to distalize molars easily and with optimum patient comfort. Easy to use: just cut it between close coils to have the desired length, insert on wires, and compress it with a stop on the archwire. The spring produces a 100gr constant force.
