Are You Looking for a Fast and Effective Solution for Class II Malocclusions?
D-Bar is the answer to your needs
Simplify Class II Treatment with D-Bar
D-Bar is a direct bonding orthodontic device designed to provide a treatment solution for Class II malocclusions in primary, permanent, or mixed dentition.
D-Bar is designed to optimise molar relationship while minimising canine over-extrusion, featuring a highly aesthetic design that enhances patient comfort and reduces treatment time.
D-Bar features a universal design suitable for both right and left sides.
D-Bar consists of two separate components that must be assembled by the clinician at the time of placement or through an indirect bonding procedure.
Packaging
D-Bar is available in single packs and sets. Single packs include 2 universal bars of the same size, 2 molar supports, and 1 measuring gauge. The set includes 24 universal bars (2 per size), 24 molar supports, one positioning instrument, and 24 measuring gauges.
D-Bar can be used as a standalone device or in combination with other commercially available orthodontic appliances, such as aligners, brackets, or other fixed orthodontic devices.
How to Use
Once the most appropriate D-Bar size has been selected using the measuring gauge, bond the molar support to the upper molar (or, where indicated, to the premolar).
Insert the bar into the molar support until the rounded end is no longer visible, then bond the opposite end to the canine (or, where indicated, to the premolar). Bond an auxiliary appliance (tube or lingual button) to the lower molar or premolar, and use an intra-oral elastic to connect the mesial hook of the bar to the auxiliary appliance.
D-Bar can be removed once Class II correction has been achieved. It is always recommended to consult the instructions supplied with the product.
When to Use
D-Bar is a device that provides a fast and effective solution for Class II malocclusionsin patients with primary, permanent, or mixed dentition.
It is preferably used at the beginning of treatment for the distalisation of molars and premolars.
D-Bar can be used as a standalone device or in combination with other commercially available orthodontic appliances, such as aligners, brackets, or other fixed orthodontic devices.
When positioned on the lower arch, D-Bar can also assist in the treatment of Class III malocclusions.

Features
D-Bar is universal and consists of two components, a molar support and a bar, supplied unassembled.
If required, only the bar can be easily replaced, or its size can be changed during treatment when clinical conditions require it. This feature makes D-Bar highly flexible and helps reduce and simplify clinic inventory.
D-Bar can also be integrated into a digital workflow and applied using an indirect bonding procedure. The use of two separate components allows the device to be integrated into transfer trays or jigs.
D-Bar is manufactured entirely using MIM technology from 17-4 stainless steel. The retentive base is produced using a high-frequency laser system, ensuring high bond strength. Any commercially available orthodontic adhesive may be used.
D-Bar is available in twelve sizes, ranging from size 16 to 27, with 1 mm increments. Size identification is quick and easy thanks to laser marking.
